Welcome to the Bear Den.
A Bear Scout is the second step into Cub Scouting where the boy has
compleated the second grade and continues earning his badges and
takes his next major step towards the 'Arrow of Light' award.

Before the boy can earn his Bear badge or any other badges, he
must earn his Bobcat Badge first.

The 8 tracks (requirements) to the Bobcat badge are:
1) Learn and say the Cub Scout Promise
2) Say the Law of the Pack and tell what it means
3) Tell what Webelos means
4) Show the Cub Scout sign and tell what it means
5) Show the Cub Scout handshake and tell what it means
6) Say the Cub Scout Motto
7) Give the Cub Scout salute and tell what it means
8) With a parent, read the parent guide, "How to Protect Your Children
from Child Abuse".

Now that this is compleated, the boy is on his way to earning his
Bear badge
